Fan-Miri | The Chocolate School Factory is installed in the Quilombola Community of Economy

In partnership with the Quilobola Community of the Mosquito-Miri-Miri Municipality, the Creative Laboratory of Amazon (LCA) since April 14, the initiative of the Amazon Institute 4.0, in partnership with the Quilombola residents of the Lord-Miri (Aqmomi). These activities will continue until May 16, 2025 and strengthen the community -based manufacturing chains, focusing on cocoa and kavu, through the travel chocolate school factory.
The structure is accompanied by geodetic domes that are in line with the amazonian environment and are installed from the conversation with local leaders. Since 2021, society has been involved in technical visits and exchanges, knowing the LCA model and contribute to its implementation.
During programming, residents are trained in stages such as cocoa procurement, fermentation, drying, rheuman, grinding and chocolate production “from Tree to Bar”. The use of tropical galatoria, business management, access to market spaces and the use of artificial intelligence tools.

These workshops are conducted by Chocolatier Caesar D Mendis, who supported Lucin Gemac from the Coco Guardian initiative. This action connects the strategies of the Amazon Institute 4.0 to promote stable bio economic with the appreciation of income product and traditional knowledge.
