Former Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satyapal Malik is receiving treatment at a hospital in Delhi. From May 11, he agreed to the Malik Hospital with a post of X. In this post, he has also released his picture in which he can see that he is lying on the hospital bed.

Today, the CBI has filed a charge sheet against six people, including Satyapal Malik. The case is related to corruption in civil work contracts of the Kiru Hydro Electric Project which costs Rs 2200 crore.

After posting X, Satyapal Malik wrote, ‘I couldn’t take my many wells -I could not lift it up. Now my condition is very bad. I am not in a position to talk to anyone. I have been admitted to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital since May 11. He was hospitalized due to an infection. Now the situation is very serious and kidney dialysis has been done for the past three days.

What are the accusations on Malik
According to the CBI Charged paper, some companies are accused of being confused and deliberately beneficial to some companies. The project is considered important in the basis of growth in Jammu and Kashmir. During the hearing of February 2024, the CBI searched the residences of Satyapal Malik in Delhi and more than 30 places, including premises in Jammu and Kashmir.

The Kiri Hydro Power Project is located in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir. The project is implemented by the Power Projects Pvt. Limited (CVPPPL). According to the CBI investigation, there were severe irregularities in the soft operation of the project’s civil work. At the 47th Board of the CVPPP, it was decided that the tender process would be re-auctioned by e-tendering and reverse auction, but it was not implemented. Instead, the contract was given directly to Patel Engineering Limited.
