The right weather and land for Avocado
Avocado cultivation from temperate to tropical weather is considered very favorable. This means that the fruit is well developed in areas with a temperature of 15 to 30 degrees Celsius. This plant can be very cold or bear the ice, so it should not be harvested in such areas.

Irrigation requirements
In the first 2 years, water is required for every 7-10 days. After this, irrigation is required only 1 or 2 times a month. During the monsoon, irrigation is not required, but there should be a drainage system so that the water does not accumulate in the roots.

The use of manure and fertilizer
For good yields, you need to put organic manure such as cow dung fertilizer and vermi compost on the farm. Apart from this, giving NPK (nitrogen, phosphorus and potash) twice a year is beneficial for plant growth. The amount of fertilizer should be increased each year according to the age of plants.
Rot and control the disease
Avocado usually does not have more insects. Still, in some places there may be a root rot or fungus problem. To prevent this, place the drainage system properly on the farm and spray neem oil or organic pesticides from time to time.

Avocado plants begin to give fruits in about 3 to 4 years. Remember that the avocado does not cook on the tree, so it can break a little green. It becomes soft and edible within 7 to 10 days after the tree. The fruit can be sold on a local market, supermarket or direct online platform.
Earnings and benefits
The avocado tree can get 100 to 150 kg of fruit per year. The avocado price in the market ranges from ₹ 150 to ₹ 400 per kg. In this way, by planting 80-100 plants per 1 acre, a farmer can earn between Rs 3 to 5 lakhs annually, which is also in less effort.
