A senior official said that this time the Union Home Ministry has decided to use about 580 companies for the Amarnath Yatra. It already has 150-160 companies in the Union Territory. These companies have been taken from the Central Armed Forces forces- the Central Reserve Police Force (CAPF), Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISP), India Tibet Border Police (IDPP) and Sasadra Seema Paul (SSP). Each of these companies has about 70-75 employees.
