Pakistan actors accounts for banning songs of Pakistan, Lata Mangeshkar and others

Pakistan banned Indian songs
The Pakistani government issued a statement on May 1. Bollywood songs are now said to be banned in Pakistan. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has said that the Indian songs are not played at the Pakistan FM radio station. The decision is said to be in mind the whole country.
Pakistan Broadcasting Association (PPA) General Secretary Shakeel Masood said, “The PPA has stopped broadcasting Indian songs from Pakistan FM radio centers across the country. The songs of the best singers such as Indian songs, especially Lata Mangeshkar, Mohammed Rafi, Kishore Kumar and Mukesh, are popular among Pakistanis and are played in FM radio centers daily. Pakistani Information Minister Atta Taran praised the decision of the PPA.
In a letter to the PPA, Atta Tarak said, ‘The patriotism of the PPA is very acclaimed, and it reflects the joint sentiment of the entire country. The ban on Indian songs in Pakistan’s FM centers shows that we are all united to promote national unity and support the original values in such difficult times.
