Fuerteventura Cabildo ends the volcanic stone walls of the majerro cheese museum

“Fuerteventura, beautifully”, ends in Fuerteventura Cabildo from an additional part of the volcanic stone wall at the Majeero Cheese Museum. The 180 meters of the vertical and horizontal construction was initially planned in the performance, which now expands the work to a high wall of about ten meters that ends the intervention.

Business and machinery service, through its environment and regional and environmental planning (GESPLAN), has developed comprehensive rehabilitation and maintenance work in the majorero cheese environment and Mill Old Museum. “Its potential as a tourist student generates job opportunities and a tractor from their associated economies, in addition to maintaining the history and culture of MAVERSA”.

The crew returned to the cheese museum to rehabilitate a wall with a height of about two meters and a length of about ten meters, which was not thought about the original project. It is designed with traditional construction technologies and volcanic stones, and technologies and materials are now used for rehabilitation. It should be noted that to ensure a sincere result of the original structure in this type of work, operators have been trained in traditional construction technologies.

Before this intervention on the wall, the crews made work, cleaning and improvements in the museum environment and in the symbolic aloe vera garden, in addition to rehabilitating many dry stone walls and gravel -packed roads (more than 180 meters from the linear walls that were rehabilitated or built).

This performance allows the majorero cheese museum to the cultural, ethnographic and traditional value that is indisputable for its museum in an important and illustrative framework of Fuerteventura and MAVEROROS.
