50 crores scam for compensation for crop loss in Maharashtra!
A large scam has emerged in the Jalna district of Maharashtra. After it was released, the Collector ordered a detailed investigation. It is said that lower -level government officials have abducted Rs 50 crore for compensation for crop loss. This information was given quoting an officer. How to know the scam
Deputy Collector Ganesh Mahadik said the compensation was Rs 1,500 crore for 13 lakh farmers in 2023-2024. These are farmers who have destroyed crops with hail and floods. The scandal came to light when there were many complaints from farmers to administration about the manipulation of compensation.

In the early investigation, Mahadik said that significant manipulations were suggested in Ghansavingi and Ambad Tahsils. Here, there is a suspicion that Tehsildars are misusing login credentials on village servants, tankal (both village level officials) and black officers, making fake beneficiaries, hurting documents and making many payments to the same person.
The report comes in a month
District Collector Dr Shri Krishna Panchal has taken the matter seriously and ordered a detailed inquiry. The Assistant Collector, Deputy Collector and Naib Tahsildar were set up for the investigation. The committee has asked for its resolutions within a month. At the same time, according to the Marathi website Sakal, it will also be investigated in other villages falling under the scam and other jalna.

100 crores a scam!
Some suspect that the scandal is not Rs 50 crore but Rs 100 crore. The website quotes the deputy collector Mahadik and only after the investigation. On behalf of the inquiry committee, 75 to 80 villages are being investigated. In the year 2023, many farmers’ houses were destroyed due to hail and floods in Jalna, Maharashtra. At that time, the government announced this compensation by sympathizing with the farmers.
