Mineral Agreement between the United States – Trump’s Pressure on Strategic Alliance after Politics

The United States and Ukraine have signed a major economic agreement, and the two countries have agreed to form the US-Ukraine Reconstruction Investment Fund. Through this agreement, the US will take a role in the rare mineral resources of Ukraine. The two countries jointly issued this announcement. The agreement is aimed at transforming US assistance into an economic alliance in the rehabilitation of Ukraine after Russia’s attack.
According to a report by the news agency AP, the agreement was reached when Trump demanded Ukraine to pay US assistance in the war against Russia.
At the same time, the US Finance Ministry said President Donald Trump had led the deal. The fund will be conducted by the US Treasury Department and the International Development Fund (TFC).
Finance Minister Scott Besant said that the historic agreement was reached today due to efforts for President Trump’s peace. This gives a clear message that the United States stands with an independent, sovereign and rich Ukraine. He made it clear that neither the country or the person who provides weapons or financial aid to Russia would have any benefit in the rehabilitation of Ukraine.
Both Ukraine and the United States have expressed their confidence to implement this coalition quickly, so that both countries can gain direct benefits. Through this agreement, the United States will have the right to invest in Ukraine’s major natural resources such as aluminum, graphite, oil and gas. This is called the “US-Ukraine Reconstruction Investment Fund”.
Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Yulia Swiridenko said the deal was signed in Washington on April 30. Earlier in February, President Jelanky’s visit to the United States should be signed, but he was postponed due to a dispute between Trump and Gelanx at the White House.
The agreement came in a time when Ukraine needed US help in the current war with Russia. Ukraine is considering it as part of the strategy of maintaining US support. Ukrainian Prime Minister Dennis Shamihal called this “strategic investment joint” between the two countries.
