Mers promises to fight illegal immigration, on his first trip to Poland as a chancellor

German Chancellor Freederick Mers visited Warza on Wednesday to retain conversations with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

Both discussed important issues for the EU, international issues, security and security, as well as Germano-poli relations.

At a joint press conference after meeting the two leaders’ closed gate, Mers stressed the importance of ensuring the safety of the EU borders and promised to take action to fight illegal immigration.

Freederick Mers said that Germany would join an attempt led by the Netherlands, Denmark and Italy to strengthen the EU’s migration policies.
