Jelenski’s late Pope Francis describes him as a forecast religious figure worldwide

President Volodimir Jelensky said that the late Pope Francis was one of the leading religious leaders of the world by expressing condolences to the council of Ukrainian religious churches and organizations.
“First, I would like to thank you for this meeting. Also, on behalf of Ukraine, Pope Francis presented his condolences yesterday – for the death of one of the world’s true religious leaders.
He also gave Pascal greetings, underlined the importance of unity during the war.
“We have no chance to present our greetings personally during the previous holidays, including Easter. Now I do this. This section – perhaps the most important thing we have – helps us to be firm against the occupant,” said the Ukrainian President.
Jelenski thanked the late Pope for praying for peace in Ukraine, especially in Ukraine, and the ability to give confidence and unity during suffering.
“Ukraine needs the support of religious communities – spiritual diplomacy, diplomacy of values, always helps,” he said.
Jelensky continued his diplomatic journey in Europe on October 11, 2024 in Vatican with Pope Francis.
In a symbolic gesture, Jelenski gave him an oil sketch “Bucha assassination – the story of Marichka”. The art of art is celebrating the tragic events in Buccha on the northwest of Giev, which became a symbol of civilians after the occupation of the Russian forces at the beginning of 2022 invasion.
Pope Francis often talked about the war between Russia and Ukraine, formally condemning the violence and defending the peaceful resolution. However, some of his reports have criticized Ukraine, and his opponents seem to be a reduction in Russia’s role in the conflict.
During his lecture on December 15, 2024, Pope Francis repeatedly appealed for peace, describing Russia and Ukraine as “Sister countries” – although it has been rooted in the appeals of unity, the Vatican’s position was re -debated.
Jelensky’s views on the death of the Pope following Russia’s continuous attacks on Ukraine on the weekend, although Putin announced the ceasefire in Easter.
According to the Ukrainian president, Russia has exceeded the ceasefire over 2,900 times, taking 96 robberies in the front row and bombing 1,800 times in Ukrainian posts.
Regional officials in the Gerson region of southern Ukraine also reportedly killed three people over the weekend.
On Tuesday, Russian drones attacked the Ukrainian port city of Odesa, while flat bombs attacked local authorities, Jaborishehsia.
