Jelenski rejects Russian three -day ceasefire and protects a monthly fight

Ukrainian President Volodimir Jelenski rejected the Russian plan of the three -day ceasefire, qualified by play, and instead suggested a month’s fight.

“An unconditional ceasefire is a model proposed by Americans. We are following this model. Even if it starts on this date or other parts, we will try 30 days. Why is there a 30 -day ceasefire? Because three, five or seven days cannot be reached,” Jelensky told journalists on Saturday.

Russian President Valamdimir Putin proposed a ceasefire between May 7 and 9, and foreign representatives were invited to go to Moscow for the parade. Jelensky said that the safety of participants in the parade cannot be guaranteed.

The exchange of drone attacks between Russia and Ukraine

At least 47 people were injured in the Russian air strikes that attacked Ukraine on Friday in Karki.

The drones damaged residential buildings, civil infrastructure and various vehicles.

Following the attack, Ukrainian President Volodimir Jelensky appealed for the strong and decisive support of the country’s allies.

“When the world is reluctant to make decisions, Ukraine will be a dream that will cost almost every night. Ukraine needs a strong air protection. Our partners, America, Europe, all our partners need a strong and real decisions,” he wrote in the X on Saturday morning.

The Ukrainian Air Force said on Saturday that Russia had removed 183 explosive drones and calls at night. Of these, 77 were stopped by Ukrainian security, and 73 were lost because they were electronicly blocked. The Air Force said Russia introduced two ballistic missiles.

However, the Russian Defense Ministry said its air security had assassinated 170 Ukrainian drones at night. According to the Ministry, eight shipping missiles and three guided missiles were intercepted.

In South Russia, four people were injured in a drone attack on the Novorosis Port Town at night in the Black Sea, said Governor of the Crisnodor Region, Venim’s Gondradivev.

Amidst concerns that President Donald Trump can reduce the support of peace talks with Russia after the US and Ukraine signed a contract on Wednesday, guaranteed to access Ukraine’s vast mineral resources and ended a month’s contract to continue military assistance to Kiev.
