A large number of people gathered on Saturday in the Johri Bazaar of Jaipur and protested against the controversy at the Jama Masjid. In fact, BJP MLA Paul Mukand Acharya reached the Jama Masjid on Friday night. He is said to have accompanied the mosque and raised some slogans. Against this, people began to protest on the streets after Namas on Saturday evening.

Police said some of the shops were forcibly shut down, and then the crowd was removed using light power. Police Commissioner Biju George Joseph said the situation is normal, traffic is soft and police are taking action. He appealed to people not to prove on the streets.

He also raised slogans of ‘Pakistan Murdabad’, but it is wrong to go into the MLA’s mosque to raise slogans. Congress MLA Rabik Khan said the situation is now under control and no one will be allowed to spoil the atmosphere. The police appealed to the public to take a flag parade in the area and maintain peace.
