Oscar özel, the main Turkish opposition leader, appealed to his supporters to leave the street in peaceful demonstrations against the detention of the Istanbul mayor and to leave the street against President Rizep Tayyip Erdogan’s main political competitor.

Ecram Imamoslu was arrested at his residence on Wednesday morning when repression against opposition persons and dissatisfied voices claiming to be involved in corruption and terrorism.

Many prominent people – including two locals in Istanbul district – were detained.

Many have been detained as a political initiative to remove a famous person from the opposition parties and Erdogan’s main opponent of the next presidential competition in 2028.

The government rejects the government’s responsibility for the allegations that cases against opposition statistics are politically motivated and urged the courts of Turgia to act independently.

The Daily Newspaper Camhurite and other media reported that Emoilu had begun to investigate on Friday afternoon. It can be arrested for up to four days without charges.

Erdogan said the government would not tolerate street demonstrations and accused the opposition corruption, marginal groups and terrorist organizations.

“We see that a anti -corruption activity in Istanbul is being used as a factor in stirring on our streets. I would like to know that I would not allow a few opportunists to bring Turkey to Turkey to protect their robbery plans.”

“It is a serious recklessness to point the streets instead of courtrooms to protect theft, robbery, illegal and fraud.”

Since Imamosul was detained, thousands of people gather for night protests against the Istanbul City Hall, erupting clashes between protesters and police in Istanbul, Ankara and the third largest city of Ismir.

On Thursday night, there was a very violent chapter at the Middle East Technical University in Ankara, and the police destroyed gas and water cannons to disperse a large number of protesters.

Students said the police had used rubber bullets, but the government refused to do so.

More than 50 people have been arrested following the protests and 16 policemen were injured, the Interior Ministry said.

Ankara and Ismir officials on Friday announced a ban on demonstrations following a similar ban imposed by the Governor of Istanbul.

These obstacles arose following the recognition of the rights of the country’s justice minister, but the street demonstrations were unacceptable during the current judicial inquiries.

However, the President of the People’s Republican Party (CHP), özgr özel, launched a new appeal to join and speak.

“I call tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands and millions of people in peace, to express their democratic reaction and use their constitutional rights,” he said.

“For those who say that it is irresponsible to invite people to the streets, I say this: We fill these streets and squares. Your illegal and injustices have brought people to the streets.”

In the primary elections on Sunday, Imamoslu was detained just days before he was nominated as the presidential candidate of the CHP.
