Jessica Roswal believes that the Europeans cannot provide water as a guaranteed.

In an interview with Euronevs, he said, “I can’t continue like us, because extreme climate events have become a new nature,” said as part of providing a new European strategy for water setback.

Europe is facing a quantity of problem: drought is a problem not only in the south of the continent but also in the north. On the other hand, a severe flood of Valencia and France was recorded.

“The lack of water facing Europe is 30 %in the European territory. So we have excessive water problems. Sometimes others have water shortages, but even polluted water, so we must act.”

The purpose of the commissioner is that everyone, including industry and farmers, has clean and affordable water.

“We have to be wise in how we use water. How can we be efficient? And, we need to innovate and review the existing techniques.”

Eliminate “Eternal Chemicals”

Another substantial challenge facing the commission is water quality.

Ber and Polyfluro Algilicas (PFA), also known as “eternal chemicals,” have been accumulating in the EU for decades, and there is a serious risk to human health and the environment.

The European Commission says it is preparing to support a large Wingspan cleaning initiative, which begins in 2026.

The Commission also states that it is a barrier to using PFA in consumer products, including pisa boxes, cosmetics, waterproof clothing and fire -quantity of foam.

But in the case of medical products such as inhalers, surgical equipment or articles, the situation is very complicated, and there are no appropriate alternatives for this.

Fight the biodiversity slope

Roswal says he believes that the environment can be protected when the rules are released.
