Officials said that the ‘Madhya Pradesh Metropolitan Area Planning and Development Act’ 2025 ‘proposal was approved by the Ministers’ Council meeting held under the head of the Historical Rajapada Mahal of Indore. At the meeting of the Ministers Council, it was decided to create a metropolitan authority for a well -planned development around Indore, Bhopal, Ujjain, Jabalpur and Gwalior.
The authorities will form in two phases
In the first phase, two metropolitan development officers will be created. The first Metropolitan Development Authority will be made by mixing areas of Indore, Ujjain, Divas, Dhar and Shah Jabur districts, while the second metropolitan development commission will be mixed by mixing areas of Bhopal, Sehor, Raisen, Vidisha and Piyora. The Chief Minister will be the head of these officials.
