Delhi News: More than 100 thunderstorms in Delhi, experts are responsible for municipal organizations

More than 100 trees fall in Delhi

Trees over 100 trees with thunderstorms

The tree has been diluted Delhi: On Friday morning, the weather was suddenly cooled in Delhi due to the sudden weather, but many trees were caught in the city due to thunderstorms and rain. Environmental activists have expressed concern over uncontrolled urban development. According to experts, using cement around the trees, weakening the trees by creating sites.

In the early hours of Friday morning, 100 to 200 trees were caught in the national capital, for which environmental activists have accused the city’s false path. Due to heavy rains in the city, the Delhi Municipal Corporation received 53 complaints about the collapse of the tree, the New Delhi Municipal Council received 24 similar complaints, while the Public Works Department received at least 200 complaints or branches. There were complaints that trees fell from different parts of Delhi almost all day.

Cement construction causes roots

In such a situation, experts blamed uncontrolled concrete production based on trees to weaken the trees.

Delhi’s environmental activist Varahin Khanna says, “The cement tree surrounding the bottom of the tree is to bring down the roots of water and air and prevents the spread of stem.”

He said, “During the monsoon, the shaft of the trees should spread due to the increase in moisture, but this does not happen due to cement. The roots are weakened so that the tree will lose its balance.

To give a chance to thrive the trees

Khanna criticized municipal bodies in a hurry to cut down fallen trees. He said, “The authorities have resources to save these trees, but there is a shortage of morale. Explains the authorities in a small friendly manner, set the example, and when they work, the success rate is high.”

Instructions were received to remove concrete construction

Green activist Pavin Gandhari accused the negligence of environmental destruction for many years.

“One of the main reasons is uncontrolled concrete construction around the base of the trees, which prevents the growth of important nutritious roots and weakens the foundation. Soil -related excavation and the problem of the old root system worse.”

In the 2013 order of the National Green Tribunal, Gandhi said that all officials were advised to remove concrete from a meter radius surrounding the trees, but this instruction has not yet been followed.

He warned, “As long as these incidents include the health of the trees in its urban project and the current rules do not implement.”
