  • ‘Cool Roof’ and ‘Green Roof’ technology will be promoted in government and private buildings.

  • Special security arrangements have been made in slums, construction sites and hospitals.
  • Government hospitals have been prepared with heat wave wards, or srs and trained medical staff.
  • Digital cold water distributor and cold roofing technology have been introduced.

The Chief Minister said that the temperature in Delhi has reached 50 degrees Celsius in the last few years, which is a life -threatening hour. In such a situation, the government’s plan is a firm effort towards a ‘climate Smart Delhi’.

In this scheme, children, the elderly, workers, women, disabled and poor sections are given priority in this scheme. The thermal alarm system has been strengthened to provide alert and timely assistance in conjunction with the meteorological department.
