Chief Minister begins the thermal action plan
The Delhi government has taken many important steps in Delhi, considering heat and heat threats. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta launched a ‘Delhi Thermal Action Program 2025’ at the Delhi Secretariat on Monday.

Arrangements made under its
- 3000 water coolers will be installed throughout the city – of 1000 roads, 1000 government buildings, and 1000 homeless or passers -by.
- The cooling shades and the cold water sidewalks and bus stops will be arranged.
- ‘Cool Roof’ and ‘Green Roof’ technology will be promoted in government and private buildings.
- 14 lakh children from 5500 schools will be trained in the capital to prevent disaster management and heat.
- Special security arrangements have been made in slums, construction sites and hospitals.
- Government hospitals have been prepared with heat wave wards, or srs and trained medical staff.
- Digital cold water distributor and cold roofing technology have been introduced.
The Chief Minister said that the temperature in Delhi has reached 50 degrees Celsius in the last few years, which is a life -threatening hour. In such a situation, the government’s plan is a firm effort towards a ‘climate Smart Delhi’.
The project is ready to keep every class in mind
In this scheme, children, the elderly, workers, women, disabled and poor sections are given priority in this scheme. The thermal alarm system has been strengthened to provide alert and timely assistance in conjunction with the meteorological department.
