India has decided to immediately implement the Indus Water Agreement after a terrorist attack in Bahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, which provides a major setback for Pakistan.
An important meeting will be held on Friday on the Indus Water Agreement, which will be held at the residence of Home Minister Amit Shah. It is expected that several senior central ministers, including Jal Shakti Minister CR Patil, will attend the meeting.
Earlier, on Thursday, India’s Water Resources Secretary, Debashish Mukherjee wrote a letter to Pakistani Water Resources Ministry Syed Ali Murdasa, provided proper information on the decision.

The letter stated that Pakistan had made the decision due to continuous cross -porter terrorism. “Deals must be followed with goodwill and confidence, but Pakistan continues to spread terrorism in the Jammu and Kashmir region of India, which is a violation of this agreement.”

The letter wrote in the letter that the Government of India has notified the Pakistani government for a change in the agreement. The announcement states that many basic things of the contract have changed and there is a need to review it.
Cause
It said, “The change in the population, the development of clean energy and the contract has changed in many reasons. Any contract must be used with the right spirit, but Pakistan promotes terrorism crossing the border in Jammu and Kashmir. Due to the uncertainty of safety, India has not been able to fully use the contract provided. Pakistan has not accepted many of the conditions of the agreement or is not prepared to negotiate with India on the agreement. Therefore, the Government of India has decided to suspend the Indus Water Agreement of the 1960s.

In particular, the move is responsible for the attack on the Lashkar-e-Taiba’s proxy organization, TRF (in front of the protest), of which 26 innocent people were killed. Most of them are tourists.
