In 2010, the ED’s closure report was admitted by the Roose Avenue Court in Delhi in the case of the Commonwealth Games. The decision has been completed in this 13 -year -old case.
Suresh Kalmadi and other accused are investigating
The court concluded the investigation of the money being filed against the former Commonwealth Games Group (OC) chairman Suresh Kalmathi, General Secretary Lalith Panot and other accused accused. During the hearing, the court decided that no money laundering crimes were proved. For this reason, the final report filed by the ED was accepted.
Ed inquiry based on the recommendation of the CBI
CBI Special Judge Sanjeev Agarwal said in his order that the CBI had already recommended to release the accused in the corruption case. Based on this, Ed started an investigation into the money laundering. The court acknowledged the ED’s argument that the money laundering crime was not confirmed, so there was no reason to improve the matter.

The CBI had already filed a final report
The CBI has accused the organizing committee of losing Rs 30 crore as the illegal allocation of two important agreements to the Commonwealth Games. However, the CBI filed a final report in the case in January 2014 that no objectionable evidence had been revealed and that the allegations could not be proven.
What does the Congress leader speak in the closure report?
The ED has issued a closure report in the Commonwealth Games case accepted by the court. In this regard, Congress leader Pawan Keda accused the ‘illusion of lies today and has fallen’ and that the personality of Manmohan Singh and Sheila Dixit was harmful.
Pawan has called for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Arvind Kejriwal to apologize to the country and the Delhi people.
