In the wake of Donald Trump’s fee war, Spain’s Prime Minister Point Pedro Sanchez is in Beijing, the second stop of a trip from Asia, asceticism.

Trade between Spain and China continues to rise, but with sharp imbalance in favor of the Asian company.
By 2024, the import of Spanish from China exceeded 45 billion euros, while exports did not reach 7.4 billion.
It makes China the fourth largest business partner in Spain, its second largest products supplier, but only the twelfth largest in Spanish exports.
Sanchez said, “Only the diversity and unity between nations can face this kind of global challenges. Spain protects the world of open doors. Business unite our people and make them more prosperous.”
Spanish purchasing products from China contain machines, textiles and consumer products. In recent years, imports of cars and motorcycles have also been prominent.
Spanish companies are mainly exporting chemicals, minerals and industrial components. China has established itself as the main Asian market of Spanish sales and over 14,500 Spanish companies maintain trade ties with the country.
But bilateral investment numbers are very balanced and even more modest.
In 2023, China claimed 131 million euros in Spain, and Spanish investment in China reached 91 million euros.
Although the blocks are still small, both economies maintain interest in strengthening relationships in strategic sectors such as technology, energy and logistics.
China departs in safety
When asked about the criticism of the US Treasury Secretary for Chancellor’s arrival, the Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lynn Jian firmly responded: “If we talk about cutting off each other, the United States is accurately trying to abuse fees for threatening and dividing the world.

The Spanish socialist government, which faced Washington’s criticism, supported the openings of China.
Agriculture Minister Louis Planna stressed that Spain has the best trade ties with China, “We must continue to be clear, but we want to expand.”
