Easter on the common date
For more than 400 years, Catholic and Orthodox churches use different forms to determine Easter date.
Pope Francis and Ekumenical Patriotic Bartolomue are urging Easter to have a common and permanent date, despite the distrust of those factions.
The differences in tradition and calendar systems – Juliano and Gregorian – have long been maintaining Easter dates separately. Efforts for a section supporting the Council of the World Church are aimed at dealing with these sections.
