Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath (Yogi Adityanath) visited Kanpur on Sunday to review the progress of many major development projects to take the products for the proposed tour of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. During his arrival, the Chief Minister examined the upcoming public meeting, the main infrastructure efforts, including thermal power projects and the Metro Rail Project. He also provided clear instructions to the authorities to exercise timely and properly.
The Chief Minister Yogi and the Public Representatives addressed the site appointed by the Prime Minister. He reviewed the necessary facilities such as safety, transport control measures and drinking water, seat preparations and cleanliness.
What instructions did the Chief Minister give Yogi officials?
The Chief Minister ordered the officials to emphasize an inherent experience for the participants, and all the products must be completed according to quality and without any delay.
The Chief Minister also reviewed the 3×660 MW Nelly Kathampur heating power project at a cost of Rs 21,780.94 crore. The first unit (660 MW) has invested Rs 9,337.68 crore.
This project is a joint venture of the Coal Ministry, the Government of India and the Energy Department and the Uttar Pradesh Government. It is implemented by the Nelly Uttar territory power, a joint venture defined between NLCIL and Reserve. During the inspection, the Chief Minister advised the authorities to evaluate the progress of the Yogi program and follow the time limit.
In addition, CM Yogi Banki inspected the thermal expansion program (1×660 MW), which cost Rs 8,305.16 crore by the Uttar Pradesh Electricity Generation Corporation Limited. He reviewed the status of the project and instructed the authorities to take all necessary steps to start it soon.

How are the preparations for the ongoing metro?
Yogi traveled to the newly built metro line from Nayakanjanjjan to Ravatpur station to assess the Kanpur Metro Rail Project under the leadership of the Up Metro Rail Corporation. He reviewed passenger facilities, cleaning stations, operational arrangements and security measures. He instructed the authorities to ensure that the Metro service was accessible, clean and suited to passengers, emphasizing the public.
The Chief Minister said that Yogi underscore the importance of completing all the projects, and that they will prove not only in the development of Kanpur but also in the entire Uttar Pradesh. He also advised that the preparations for the Prime Minister’s visit should be at a very high level, reflecting the state’s commitment to excellence.
