CPI Sought documents at four main points
The CBI has sought documents from power at four key points. These include land allocation and lease bond copies, documents relating to the building of the building, lease rental details and other charges paid by builders, and copy of the letter between power and builders.
The authority handed over documents to the CBI
The CBI made it clear that these documents should be made available by May 2025, so that the authorities involved can carry the investigation process. In this letter, two investigators mentioned Nitesh Kumar (Additional SP) and deep Sharma (police inspector). The Yamuna Commission has handed over the documents requested to the CBI, and the CBI has now launched an investigation. The case is related to the pending case in the Supreme Court, petitioner Himanshu Singh.
According to sources, customers who were taking home loans through the interest subsidiary scheme were cheated by the cooperation of builders and banks, showing money from EMI Bank without informing customers. This move by the CBI is considered an important link against the builder-bank Nexus. The investigation can also clarify whether there was any abuse in recognizing these plans by the Yamuna Authority.
