There was a tragic accident on the Kisan track in UP’s capital, Lucknow, where the moving AC sleeper bus suddenly caught fire. In this accident, 2 children, 2 women and 1 men died by burning. There were about 80 passengers on the bus and the bus was traveling from Bihar to Delhi.
According to reports, the severe accident occurred at around 5 am when the bus was on the farming road near Mohanlalkj. According to the witnesses, the bus first began to fill the smoke, and at some point the flames began to rise. Most of the passengers were sleeping at the time, causing confusion.
Driver and conductor withdrew away from that place
After the fire, the bus driver and the conductor jumped off the bus and witnessed witnesses. The driver’s seat had an extra seat, which made it difficult to throw passengers. Many passengers were trapped and fell down and could not leave.
Local people provided information to the police and fire department
After the fire, the surrounding people informed the police and the firefighters. The fire force reached the spot, and after about 30 minutes of attempted, the fire was restricted. When the rescue team went in, they saw the burnt bodies of 5 passengers.
Because of this, setting fire
Assistant Police Commissioner (Mohanlalkanj) Rajneesh Verma said the bus was going from Bihar to Delhi to Delhi. The initial investigation shows that the bus gearbox will be on fire due to a short circuit. Most passengers were sleeping at the time of the fire. The fire spread rapidly and five passengers- two women, two children and a male-time left and died.
The bus did not stop after the fire!
Many passengers were injured and they were taken to the hospital for treatment, police said. The police found that the bus’s emergency exit was not opened, so that the passengers who were sitting behind them were trapped in the bus. At this time, the investigation is finding the exact cause of the fire. According to the witnesses, the flames on the bus were visible from about a kilometer away, and the bus did not stop immediately after the fire.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath mourned
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed his deepest condolences over the incident in Lucknow. He expressed his condolences to the families of the deceased and instructed the authorities to expedite immediate relief and rescue operations. In addition, orders have been issued to arrange for proper treatment to the injured.
Currently, the police are investigating the case and are starting to search for the driver and conductor. The administration has begun the identification process of the dead and informs their families. Images of the accident are going viral on social media, which claims its size.
