Bihar Police – A mob attacked a police station in Bihar’s Katihar
The Dandagora police station in Kathihar district of Bihar was attacked by a agitated mob. Five policemen were injured in the attack. The injured were taken to a nearby government hospital, where their condition was dangerous. The police fired for self -defense to disperse the crowd. The case is being investigated.
Kathihar’s SP Vaibhav Sharma said, “The incident took place on the night of Fridays and Saturdays at the Dandagora police station for the purpose of rescuing a man at the Dandagora police station.
The SP said that police fired for self -defense to scatter the gang. The gang could not be free from the arrested person. Five people have been arrested in connection with the attack. A case has been filed under the Indian Code against the accused. In 2016, Bihar was banned from selling liquor.
