Belgian adolescents found with 5,000 ants will be punished by Kenyan court within two weeks

A Kenyan Magistrate said two Belgian youths who are alleged to have been diagnosed with thousands of ants valued at 8000 euros will be punished within two weeks.

The Belgian youth entered the country with a tourist visa and placed in a guest house in the western city of Niwasa, and the tourists are popular for their animal parks and lakes among tourists.
His lawyer, Halima Nayakinuwa Magiro, said his customers did not know what they were doing were illegal.
He said the Belgian embassy in Kenya expects that “this court will support them in the process of further.”
