Registration is open The 8th Edition of the Assa Academia AwardAn initiative for the praise and training of micro and small entrepreneurs of the Food Department in Brazil. This action is targeted by those who work with product and/or food sales – at fixed points, by order or as a street vendor – and trying to strengthen official and informal businesses. Steps and awards
The award was divided into three categories:
- Allow sales
- Fixed sale
- The ambulant seller.
In the first phase, 2,100 entrepreneurs (700 for the category), who receive $ 300 and have access to four days of online training. Then in the first phase, 210 finalists will be selected. Each one receives another R $ 2,000 cash, Assa’s R $ 500 R $ 500 and competes to the regional phase of the award.
This phase takes place in each of the five parts of the country, the selection of two winners in each region (North, Northeast, Midwest, Southeast and South), a total of 30 regional winners. 30 regional winners will receive a cell phone (smartphone) along with guidance, experience and new training during the week of Sao Paulo. At this stage, they compete in the national stage, which will choose the winner according to the category, each get $ 15,000. That is, every national winner of these three groups will receive more than $ 22,000 awards (if you consider the amount of cash, vouchers and cell phones).
In addition, the best of the unique units of innovation, technology and sustainability is also recognized, all six national major winners.
