Strategy at AI times: Between hurry and clarity – opinion

By Miguel Olivera
In recent years, we are looking at the technical wheels that inspired enthusiasm and fears into equal parts. First, social networks came, and then the Blackchain and Metaers, and now inevitably arrived in inevitably artificial intelligence. In all of these moments there is more common, emotional energy than rationalism, which has raised many companies quickly and sometimes to make decisions: the fear of being abandoned.
This phenomenon, known as the missing fear, leads to setting up companies on new technologies without a deep understanding of their implications or their implications. Earlier took place with social networking profiles, because with the NFTs released without yes, or concrete utility, they are looking for companies to develop AI solutions as they need to participate in this technical vacancy.
However, it is not only a fast speed of its adoption, but it has a significant impact on customer operation and experience. A hurry produces broken programs, but not necessarily a united and constant strategy.
The further reflecting procedure is beneficial. It is important to be honest where there are real problems and any solutions are more effective. It is not only a matter of avoiding “backward”, but deeply understanding whether the AI can be effectively brought in: internal processes blocked by unruly information, repetitive tasks that are repeated in the customer experience or repetitive tasks that consume the time of the valuable team, in other concrete conditions.
The strategic reflection has the courage to make conscious options. There is no need to receive all the surrounding programs immediately. Deciding to focus on certain critical areas is as important as developing quickly. The ability to say that there is no “no” to say “yes” to those who really contribute to the growth and effectiveness of the business can make a diversity.
In addition, it is important to judge the coherence in implementation. Discrete activity can have little effect if not connected to other strategic programs. Efficiency arises when there is obvious integration between projects, allowing each step to strengthen the following and produce cumulative benefits.
The future of companies in the event of getting the AI’s storytelling does not depend on the speed of adopting new technologies, but with their decisions along with clarity and reflection. AI, despite the enormous capacity, remains a tool, which is surely dependent on the strategy defined by those who use it.
Perhaps the problem is not only to “attend” in the current technical wave, but to make sure that the decisions taken are the result of a careful and strategic reflection. This is a reflection rather than quickly, which can really make a difference in the long run.
