Motorcycles dominate and 2025 | Represent a total of 75% of the economy

Motorcycles have become a major transportation of para park. According to data from the National Federation of Motor Vehicle Distribution (Phenabrao), motorcycles are in accordance with 75% of all motorists in Para this year.

With increasing congestion cities, motorcycles provide an active and effective alternative to turn around and give motorcycles prioritizing some reasons, above all, they all allow drivers to turn around traffic and reach destinations.

In April 2025, there were 12,131 motorcycles in the state, with more than 11,449 in the same month previous year. Good results in the comparison between March and April this year indicate growth of 11.10%.

On the other hand, motorcycles usually have more access to cars than cars and become a more viable transport path for those with low income. And the significant size of the motorcycles is evident in the streets of para municipalities, including capital belly.

While motorcycles lead to clearance, car and light commercial vehicles continue to be less popular in the importance of consumers. In April this year, a total of 2,021 plates, which accumulated in the year, correspond to 13.88%. Already lighter commercials are in place of 1,038 units, which are represented by 7.19% of the accumulated.

Together, two sections (cars and light commercials) are in line with 21.08% of 2025 accumulated plates.

Less participating in trucks, buses and tools

The trucks recorded 181 plates in April, with a share of 1.11% of the annual cumulative. In the same month, buses represent a total of 223 units and 0.53% of the accumulated. When added, trucks and buses are equal to 1.63% of the total plates this year.

Road tools are more discreet, only 0.62% of the accumulated in.
