Invisible reader: When the “machines” seize the text – opinion

By Miguel Olivera

In 2025, we always continue to create lessons as people read. We look at manuals, organizational websites or internet pages and see content designed for humans: clear language, phrases explain step -by -step, some images to help. But there is a change. Mostly, these things are not “reading” people – they are the patterns of artificial intelligence such as chatgpt, gemini, clad or grocer. These systems read everything. Read faster, compare the more sources and process more information than any human. But they do not need a text to be “beautiful” or empathy. They do not need long descriptions, examples or pictures. What they like are simpler and organized documents, like “.MD” filesMarkdown

), These are complex formatting lessons – only with titles, lists and clear instructions as in the technical manual. For the AI model, these files are easy to read quickly and understand without “distracting”.It raises an important question: If the main reader is no longer human, should we start writing differently? What happens when thinking about content “ Machines ”

And not in people?

The way we manage and demonstrate information can affect our memory, attention and well -being. Humans benefit from stories, examples, and reflecting intervals. Therefore, if we stop creating the content designed for us, we can lose the significant part of how we learn and capture with information.

But there are also opportunities. In clinical practice, for example, the psychologist may have dozens of pages of pages, reports and observations. If all of this is organized and easily in -the -read format, it is possible to quickly adapt instructions, standards and useful ideas to support the intervention. This contribution improves clinical work – but we know how to prepare information in favor of these tools.Currently, we may be in a strange step: we are writing as people read, but today they read more today “may be”Machines ”

. And the most interesting thing is that many of the things we produce are no longer adjusted, not to humans or artificial intelligence systems. We may be writing to the audience, in practice, no longer the mainstay.

Probably the way to create two formats: one for humans, explanations and empathy; And for the other for machines, with organized and well -structured data. Instead of choosing between one or the other, can we learn to write for both?

The truth is that AI models are becoming the largest users of digital content. And we need a change in the process of thinking and managing information. We must learn this transformation without losing what is needed: Even in the growing digital world we continue to create the knowledge that really serves people.
