To this end, a meeting was chaired by general secretary Manoj Kumar Singh on the control of mastitis. In his speech, the General Secretary ordered the intensive campaign for effective control over mastitis in Milch animals. He said that an action plan for extensive campaign should be prepared and the information of the SOP suggested from the disease to the cattle breeders. The livestock section should set this procedure with respect to the standard stabilization and quality of animal food.
Advice to keep infected animals apart from other animals
The General Secretary asserted that cattle breeders should be educated and veterinarians should be contacted immediately by cattle ranches in case of mastitis symptoms. Also, it should be advised to separate the infected animal from other animals so that the disease can stop the spread. He has instructed 4 universities in the state to take necessary steps to maintain mastitis, infertility, ethnic improvement and other infectious diseases and parasitic control and with the livestock department.
Mastitis case in UP 10 percent
Ravindra Nayak, a principal secretary of the state, said that mobile veterinary units and departmental veterinary hospitals have 10 per cent of mastitis cases according to veterinary facilities provided to livestock ranch. For inspection and diagnosis of subclinical and clinical mastitis, this section is treated with the CMT kit and other necessary medications from time to time.
