Horticulture Specialist Dr Jahur Ahmed regularly advises farmers. At the same time, he appealed to the authorities to declare Shopian as ‘crisp areas’, to stop loans and intensify assistance. He said the situation was disappointing without the relief of debt. Experts in the valley say that the storm gave a big message that Kashmir’s Apple Economy was in danger.
