The goal of providing 50 lakh liters of milk per day in Bihar, new courses start in Basu

On the last Saturday of April, World Veterinary Day, which means World Veterinary Day is celebrated all over the country. On this occasion, animal and fisheries department held a workshop in Bihar’s capital, Patna. Additional General Secretary of the Department, Dr. N. Vijayalakshmi is aiming to bring milk production per day to 50 lakh liters per day. He requested the launch of cattle assistant syllabus at Bihar Animal Science University soon.
During the workshop, Dr Indrajit Singh, Vice Chancellor of the University of Bihar Animal Sciences, said the university would soon start new courses like BSC Poultry Science. This year, the theme of the World Veterinary Day is “animal health of a team”. At the same time, at the workshop, the topic of “gland disease, the importance of serimhetic and the mission of the National Livestock”, in which experts suggest their opinion and future action plans.
Veterinarians play an important role
Additional General Secretary Dr. N. On World Veterinary Day, Vijayalakshmi said that the veterinary profession is a teamwork and it needs many. He said that the role of veterinarians is more difficult than human doctors, because unruly animals cannot tell their illness. He said that the country’s economy is largely dependent on animal products and that many farmers are related to livestock and that they are strengthening their financial situation. In addition, he insisted on the start of food technology at the University of Bihar Animal Science along with a cattle assistant course.
Special attention to raising milk production
Dr Vijayalakshmi, who is currently producing 30 lakh liters of milk per day, is aiming to increase to 50 lakh liters per day. He said that effective implementation of the agricultural road map would increase milk, meat, egg and seafood, but need to increase milk production. He has instructed the district’s livestock authorities to take the initiative to establish Adarsh Gouss in their districts.
New courses will start at university soon
Dr Indrajit Singh, Vice Chancellor of the University of Bihar Animal Sciences, said today that the day of highlighting the works of veterinarians. He informed that the university will soon start BSC and poultry science courses. At the same time, he advised veterinarians to play an active role in not only making veterinarians, but also to educate livestock owners, thereby making the livestock more effective.
