Israeli Opposition asks to cancel Parliament next week
The Israeli opposition is asking the opposition to abolish Parliament next week, which will force the initial election, after the Ultra -Religious leaders who support the government will give their approval to the proposal.
The Yesh Attid Party has announced today on social networks by Yer Lapid, which will showcase the Naset (Israel Parliament) next week. The party made a similar statement by the Israeli Bite -led Awigdor Liberman. In the message on his social network X account, Liberman said the proposal would be submitted on Monday. “October 7 government should go home,” the politician wrote.
The announcement came after the publishing of many Israeli media, and many ultra -renegs leaders have ordered the withdrawal of the Israeli Ultra -Oortodax parties to withdraw their support to the Benzaman Netanyahu government. According to Israeli Media Mariv, the decision came after last night, the Ultra -Oortodax Member of Parliament, Yuli Edelstein, a member of the parliament, the responsibility of processing the bill to exclude many of the Ultrigious Jews of compulsory military service.
Two Ultra -Athhodox parties from Torah, Shas and Judaism are crucial to the stability of the coalition of Netanyahu, and both have been blocking the country’s legislative activities in protest of the executive slowdown in protest of the mission of the military exemption plan.
According to Israeli media, Shas is yet to know the Motion to melt Parliament, and there is a margin to seek commitment to Netanyahu yet, which allows the government to float.
Ultra -Oortodax, the key to the stability of the coalition, wants the government to approve a plan to allow military exemptions for members of their society, from the foundation of the state of Israel, allowing the mandatory military service in a religious school. In June 2024, the temporary clause that the exemptions was allowed (this was never accepted by the law), the Supreme Court ordered the army to be included in the Ultra -Orthodax, which forced the government to implement the legal proposal to manage many exceptions, although it also considered the addition of some Ultra -Religious.
However, the initiative has been blocked in Parliament for months, as Edelstein, a member of the process of processing it, has refused to consider the number of people who can hire the army.
Ultra -Oortodax’s military exemption in Israel has been a controversial issue in Israel, especially since the start of the war on the Gaza Strip, which has led to the government to expand the duration of mandatory military service and to maintain its objection. (EFE)
