How was this farmer rich from polyhouse
According to Rakesh Patidar, when he did not benefit from traditional agriculture, he decided to adopt modern technology. He contacted the Horticulture Department to take advantage of polyhouse technology. Farmer Rakesh said he had received a grant of Rs 16 lakh 88,000 to build a polyhouse after fulfilling the necessary conditions. Rakesh said he started cultivating chillies and tomatoes in the polyhouse. Today, he earns pure more than Rs 14 lakh a year by cultivating horticultural crops. Today, many other farmers in the region are earning a lot of vegetables in polyhouses, seeing his bumper earnings, Rakesh said. Rakesh said that by taking advantage of government schemes and adopting modern technology, agriculture can also be transformed into a source of income.
Tomato cultivation twice a year
Rakesh Patidar said he had tomatoes twice a year. One of its farming begins from July-August to February-March and starts from November-December to June-July. For the cultivation of tomatoes, he said that he would first prepare a nursery from the seeds. In about a month, nursery plants become valuable to plant on the fields. Planting tomato plants in two to three months, the fruits will start coming to them, he said.
Sow the chilli like this
Rakesh Patidar said that there are very good species of chillies available in the kingdom. We only sow the hybrid chilli. If you do not prepare a nursery yourself, take the chili crop from a good nursery. He said the chilli plants should be planted two or two feet away. Between two navales should be two to 3 feet away. When necessary, the chilli crop should be irrigated. From June to March, time for chilli cultivation is very good. Its plant is filled in 55 to 60 days.
What is polyhouse
You know that the polyhouse is a kind of greenhouse, where it is used as a polythene cover. Its structure is made from steel. After this it is covered with a plastic sheet or green net. The advantage of polyhouse agriculture is that farmers grow seasonal and mismatched vegetables. Not only, but also the insect in the crop is very low. Only cow dung or vermi compost is well produced in the polyhouse. Increased crops in polyhouse do not affect the weather like winter, hot, strong air and heavy rain.
