IIT Bhum’s graduate G. Saikash Gaur, two colleagues, Sami and Suribabu, chose a new and unique path. He was his Tech Job and Country Chicken Co for selling local chicken (Natu Kodi / Desi Hen).
High-End Store for Desi Chicken
These young people have changed the way to sell local chicken. Now this task is not done in an open market or dirty shops, but in clean and fragrant stores like supermarkets. This startup shows that meat shops are also attractive and family friendly.
No compromise in hygiene and quality
With the help of the Ikor -National Meat Research Institute in Hyderabad, the Startup has adopted good construction standards (GMP). Here:

Country Chicken Co. Not only business, but also a new employment source for farmers. These individuals buy indigenous chickens directly from village farmers, which have provided employment and income to 15,000+ farmers.

Record -Breaking Earnings and Development
Initially, this startup started from just one store, and now 7 retail units and online sales have reached.
- In the first week, Rs 13 lakh was sold.
- 5 crore turnover in 2022-23 and
- In April 2023, the monthly income earned Rs 1.2 crore.
- Now the target is to earn Rs 50 crore in 2023-24 and open 100+ outlets.

Recognition on the international stage
Country Chicken Co. In the Dubai Expo 2022, the Indian meat sector was represented. It is here praised by Union Minister Shri Anurag Thakur and many prestigious people. The “Asian Meet” magazine has also become its cover story.
