The area of Moong and Urad increased 3.13 lakh hectares and 0.43 lakh hectares respectively (up to April 25 2025). The region, such as Mong, Gram and Urad, also increased. The main states for the wheat are Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and Bihar. Cutting situation (up to 25.04.2025) was as follows: Madhya Pradesh (100%), Uttar Pradesh (88%), Rajasthan (100%), Gujarat (100%), Haryana (92%), Punjab (80%) and Bihar (88%) were done. The actual stock of wheat is 117.94 lmt against the 74.60 LMT buffer standard. The actual stock of rice against the buffer standard of 135.80 LMT is 382.09 LMT. The actual stock of rice and wheat against the buffer standard of 210.40 LMT is 500.03 LMT. The Union minister expressed his delight at the rise of buffer stock, but Chauhan ordered the nafade to make such efforts so that consumers can get cheapest items and farmers can also get good prices, which works hard day and night.
The park also increased the area
During the National Horticulture Board’s review, the area has increased in the park and the yields are also good, officials said.
