Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the Kayan Distillery plant at Sahajanwan in Gorakhpur. On this occasion, the plant is making ethanol with grains spread over 30 acres, which can be beneficial to the country and farmers, he said. CM Yogi urged farmers to bring broken rice, bad brown, grass and cane in the plant. This distillery will buy them. With this, farmers not only get the price of foodgrains, but also from grass and useless items. Built at a cost of Rs 1200 crore, the plant gets two thousand people directly and indirectly employs the same number.

Foreign currency survives and increases farmers’ income

The Chief Minister said that the plant was not a plant that manufactures alcohol but is the ethanol production department. It strengthens the use of ethanol instead of petrol and diesel so that vehicles and planes can also be implemented. CM Yogi said India would buy petrol and diesel Rs 7-8 lakh crore every year. If ethanol is made from farmers grains, then foreign currency will save and the income of farmers will increase. It strengthens the country and provides employment to the youth.

Farmers get a big benefit

He said that three and a half liters of ethanol will be built every day, which will move forward for five lakh liters. The plant is also made of contraceptive spirit, which is used in modern. Earlier, rotten grains and sugar cane waste, but now it is becoming athnol. In Uttar Pradesh, which combines petrol and diesel, 177 crore liters of ethanol is being made.

Prioritizing Green Energy

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the technology has become very good and now we have to protect the environment along with investment. He emphasized the use of green energy and spoke of zero liquid discharge and solar energy. He gave special priority that it was our responsibility to take care of Mother Earth’s health. He gave examples that the earth’s arteries act as blood vessels, as the rivers on the earth were its blood vessels. Therefore, we need to maintain the cleanliness of the rivers and their continuous flow. CM said that the government’s goal is to get every hand work and that every agriculture will get the price.

Ethanol is produced from rice and corn

Vinay Singh, Managing Director of Kayan Distillery, said that the production of grains (rice and corn) -based ethanol production began in its distilleries. In the first stage, a plant production capacity of 3 lakh liters per day was activated. After its expansion in three stages, the total production capacity is 10 lakh liters per day. Kayan’s mow has already signed Indian oil for the use of ethanol. The plant paved the way for four thousand people directly and indirectly.
