Rice Variety: Jean Game! Now this yield gives 30 percent of these rice stories, saving water too

The ICAR gene revised rice variety: Now the time of sowing for the kharif season in India has come to an end. But water consumption in dairy cultivation is a big problem. In such a situation, the government and agronomists emphasize the use of such rice types and systems, in which the water consumption is low. According to scientists, 2500 liters of water is consumed for the growth of captgram paddy, causing groundwater levels in many states, including Punjab and Haryana. Genetic editing can be very helpful in relieving this problem. For this, ICR and connected companies have created two genetic revised words for the first time in the world. First- Doctor Padi 100 (Kamala), Second- Pusa DST Rice 1.

Can do at a yield of 20-30 per cent

According to the Times of India report, these two genetic revised rice stories have the potential to bring about a major change in sustainable agriculture, the ICAR said. If agronomists grow these two types in 5 million hectares, then they can get 4.5 million tonnes of rice yield and save a total of 7,500 million cubic meters of irrigation water. Scientists say these types of methane emissions can help reduce methane emissions by 20 percent, rather than yielding 20-30 %.

Pusa DST Rice 1

Pusa DST Rice 1 was created by Ikick-Iyari in Delhi. Scientists have made it clear about salinity and drought. It is mainly focusing on farmers living near the coast. This type has given good results in various adverse conditions. In the event of lowland salinity, 10 percent of yields and 15 percent of alkaline soils and 30 percent of mud with coastal salt.

Dr. Dhan 100 (Kamala)

Dar Padi 100 (Kamala) was made by Hyderabad Icar-IRR. This type is ready by cooking 20 before its original rice type, i.e. 130 days. Since it is ripe quickly, there are a lot of water savings. Also, it can yield 19 percent higher than rice Samba and Mahsuri varieties, with its yield 5.4 tonnes per hectare. Under favorable conditions, this type of hectares can give 9 tons to yield.
