The government has set a price of at least Rs 7280 per quintal.
Sowing in thousands of acres
Nagar said the farmers were sowing sunflower flower on 76,785 acres this year. Also, 18166 farmers have completed their registration on my crop. In Haryana, it is expected that 44062 metric tonnes of sunflower can be produced this season. Minister Rajesh Nagar has informed the Hafed and Haryana Ware Housing Corporation in 17 Mandi in the five districts of the state.
