It is estimated that there are more than two thousand condominiums in the park, only 1,200 in belly. This initiative tries to meet the growing demand for electrical mobility infrastructure in the state urban centers.
According to lawyer and condominium legalist Pedro Garcia, this measure requires adjustments from projects. “Pollution matrices need to be replaced with renewable resources, the acquisition of electric vehicles and incentives for the installation of personal and mass chargers,” he said.
The benefits of the residents are the priority of income tax reduction, exceptions on fees and taxes, as well as access to financing lines. For condominiums, this proposal facilitates the possibility of creating tax credits and access to resources from financial institutions.
According to data from the Brazilian Electric Vehicle Association (ABVE), the electrified vehicle market increased by 89% between 2023 and 2024, sold 177,358 units in the country, and Amazon states are not yet in sales leaders.
In Belem, 1,255 electric vehicles were sold in 2024. During the same period, Sao Paulo recorded 24,435 units. In the first months of 2025, the Para’s capital was 330 sales, while the state capital reached 6,292.
