Now, not only cotton, not cotton, but with the seeds of every crop, the brochure is done, the farmer gets every important information

The Ministry of Agriculture, which is connected to cotton seeds, has taken a major decision. The Ministry has ordered all kinds of companies to provide a brochure with seeds and maintenance. The special thing is that on January 15 this year, the ministry issued the order only with cotton seeds. But now this applies to the seeds of all other crops rather than cotton. In the packet, every information about the seeds is provided in English, rather than the local language.
Why is only cotton?
According to a media report, companies have protested against why the cotton crop was included. Since then, this decision has been identified for all crops. Cotton is planted on 1.3 million hectares of land in the country. Over the past few years, the lack of technology in the rising events of Pink Sundi and the ways to control it and the fluctuations in its prices, farmers are now away from it. Farmers are now turning to other crops, including corn, instead of cotton.
Farmers get away from cotton
For this reason, the area under cotton in the country is declining. It comes from 130 lakh hectares to 113 lakh hectares. With this in mind, the central government has issued an order to sell the seeds with a brochure on January 15 to inform the cotton producers about the origin of the seeds and the source of the crop management. Companies have been ordered to provide all kinds of information on a brochure, such as cotton seeds, maturity period, height, no soil fertile, what kind of irrigation, fertilizer, how to manage fiber quality to agriculture. At the same time, the central government should take such a decision for the rest of the crops.
Farmers’ companies raised this problem
After this, the central government recently decided to make such information on all kinds of seed packets. In the case of cotton seeds, it is necessary to provide the soil type and the seeds on the bag. In such a situation, there is a demand from the technical coalition of the farmer companies to be brochure along with cotton seeds. The coalition head Millind Damley met Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and raised the matter. But the seed companies tried to provide information through the QR code in the packet. He said he had received government orders lately.
