Mukksar district hit the weather, the brown market, the farmers’ concern increased

The wheat collection process is in its last stage in the Muksar district, but 25% of the wheat purchased is in Mandis. It has raised concerns of farmers and commission agents. The atmosphere varies constantly- sometimes dust storm, sometimes rain- in such a situation, wheat in the market is harmful. In the Muksar district, the delay and changing atmosphere is creating new problems for farmers. Administration and related agencies have to take action immediately, so that the wheat in Mandis can reach safe warehouses and farmers can get the right price for their hard work.
How many wheat came and how many bought
According to data from the district administration, Mukksar Mandis received a total of 8,94,849 metric tonnes (MT) wheat. Of these, 8,91,772 metric wheat was purchased by government agencies and private institutions. But so far, only 6,71,620 metric metric metric wheat has been increased. That means 2,20,152 MT is still in brown mandis, which is not yet taken.
Reduction of brown arrival
On Monday, only 5,469 metric metric metal wheat, which shows that farmers have now stopped bringing wheat in Mandis or bringing very small quantities. But the delay of the old stock is a matter of concern.

The weather is becoming the biggest challenge
Recent dust storms and rains have damaged the storage of wheat. Wheat is kept public in many places. If the rest of the wheat is not increased on time, it can cause big damage.

Demand for the basis as soon as possible
An agent said, “Currently brown lifting speed is common, but in view of the weather, it is necessary to remove the rest of the wheat from the market as soon as possible. Don’t waste the effort of the farmers.”
The cleanliness of the administration- the problem will soon be overcome
A senior official said, “We are constantly accelerating the wheat lift by creating coordination with agencies and transporters. As the new arrival of wheat is reduced, the previous stock can be taken quickly.”
