Mandi News: Heavy damage due to rain in the grain market, open pole

The monsoon rains, Biyavora Mandi and Mandi management have disclosed the negligence of the monsoon in the largest agricultural production market in Madhya Pradesh. Due to the sudden heavy rains on Wednesday, two to two and a half thousand quintals of grains were kept in the market open. Traders say the cost of this loss is more than 25 lakhs.
Conditions worsen due to continuous rains
This is not the first time. For the past seven days, the grain of the traders has been spoiled every day before the monsoon. Due to the lack of large teen shade in the market, traders should keep their products publicly.
Mandi’s management came out
Mandi Secretary Ramprasad Raj said it was the responsibility of traders who protect the natural disaster and grain. He said market traders should keep their products in warehouses. The secretary said they would look into the system.

The force of traders
Most traders, including Subhash Palival and Pawan Agarwal, said that only 500 quintals of grain can be placed in small warehouses available in Mandi. After this, there is no space left, because they should be kept in public grain. This time, about 8 to 10 traders suffered heavy losses in the rain.

The trouble with cattle has also increased
Traders said that Mandi was filled with partying with cattle, which would cause greater damage to the grain. Complaints have been made several times with market management, but the solution is not found.
Farmers are also disturbing
Not only the traders, but also the farmers suffer from this confusion. When the weight of the grain is open, they also suffer from losses due to rain. Farmers want to make large teen shades in Mandi so that the money they earn is safe.
Demand from the administration of the district and the government
Merchants and farmers have demanded the construction of large teenage shades in Mandi and increase the number of godowns. If the right arrangements are not made on time, there may be greater damage in the upcoming season.
