Maharashtra MP-Maharashtra, Tapi Basin Mega Recharge Project, Million Farmers Benefit

In Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra today, the MOU has been signed for the ‘Tapi Basin Mega Recharge Project’. The event was held at Kushabhau Thackeray International Convention Center. MP CM Dr. Mohan Yadav and Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis Mou signed. Tapi Basin Mega Recharge Project is a joint project of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. According to the scheme, irrigation was proposed in Madhya Pradesh and 2,34,706 in the Maharashtra sector. Groundwater storage is expanded in this scheme. The central government spends 90 per cent of this project.
‘The world’s largest groundwater recharge project’
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav at this time said the ‘Tapi Basin Mega Recharge Project’ is the world’s largest groundwater recharge project. This is a special project that writes a new chapter of groundwater recharge worldwide. It increases the groundwater levels of large areas of the state, especially Nimer and it proves that life -so. It benefits about 1 lakh 23 thousand people in Madhya Pradesh, 2 lakh 37 hectares of Maharashtra and thousands of farmers.
This proposal goes to the center for approval
After the MOU, the two state governments will request the central government to approve the Tapti Mega Recharge Scheme for the approval of the Interstate National Irrigation Project. At the 28th meeting of “Madhya Pradesh Maharashtra Inter -Stat Control Board”, MOU’s First Ministry, Vallab Bhavan, has been in talks for the “Tapti Basin Mega Recharge” project, including the two states of the two states, including the “Tapti Basin Mega Recharge” project.
State Water Resources Minister Tulsiram Silawat, Maharashtra Water Resources Minister Girish Mahajan, Tribal Welfare Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah and MP VD Sharma, former minister Archana Chitnis, General Secretary Anurag Jain, Additional General Secretary, Chief Minister’s Office, Dr. Rajesh Rajara, Senior Officers of Maharashtra Government, were present at the state government.

Chief Minister Yadav said that more than 247 rivers are flowing here in our Madhya Pradesh rivers. There is an enormous depth of our water zodiac signs. Over the past 25 years, many interstate projects in Madhya Pradesh have not been able to move forward due to the lack of mutual compliance in the states. Now all these projects are under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

At the same time, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government came, these schemes are now embodied. Due to the activation of Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav in Madhya Pradesh 25 years later, the Maharashtra Control Board of Madhya Pradesh held a meeting of the Maharashtra Control Board and agreed to the Top Basin Mega Recharge Project and other irrigation projects. It is very beneficial to the two states. Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav congratulated the positive initiative in this direction. The Madhya Pradesh government works with the Maharashtra government in many places.
