The good news for Bihar farmers, Bihar Agricultural University (BAU), comes from Sabor, where scientists have identified new types of high yields, immunization and weather -friendly wheat, thus farmers can get higher yields in low cost and low resources. Scientists suggest improving types
The research monitoring team headed by BAU Sabor Research Director Dr Anil Kumar Singh visited the BAC (Bihar Agricultural College) experimental form. The group has suggested agricultural tests, sophisticated varieties wheat, performance in various nitrogen levels, reviewing late seeds and seed production programs and for further improvement. At the same time, Dr. Silabala Dee (Deputy Director Research) and Dr. S.K. Pathak (Dean, PGS), Dr. P.K. Singh (President, PBG), Dr. Sanjay Kumar (President, Agriculture), Dr. Deepak Bornwal (PI, wheat program) and other scientists participated.
Weather -favored varieties have been identified

These types strengthen food security

These new varieties help increase the income of farmers. At the same time, Bow Sabor Research Director Dr Anil Kumar Singh said, “Climate change affects the production of wheat, so we have developed less water, more heat and diseases. These varieties help Bihar farmers and strengthen food security.
The development of the varieties of wheat resistance
The new wheat and corn varieties have yielded high yields of up to 150 percent of NPK fertilizers. At the same time, farmers can get good profits from proper nutritious management. Scientists said some brown crops saw leaf burning (leaf wrinkle) and jung (leaf rust). But BAU scientists have developed natural immunosuppresses. Rust Resistant Genes (LR53, YR35, LR52, YR47, LR76, YR70, YRR10, YRR15-RR24, YRR15-RR24, YRR26) are included in the popular wheat varieties: Sabaur Welcome, DBW 187, WH 730 and HD 2967.
