INS Fraud | Method
Opposition parliamentarians filed on Monday (12) to Luiz Inacio Lula Da Silva (PT) government Mixed Parliamentary Inquiry Commission (CPMI) to investigate frauds related to the National Institute of Social Security (INSS). The main focus is to investigate the irregular discounts on the retirement and pensioners, the scheme is estimated to be up to R $ 6.3 billion between 2019 and 2024. Para’s five Federal Deputies signed on request to create CPMI: Raimundo Santas (PSD), Representative Edar Muro (PL), Representative Skull (PL), Henderson Pinto (MDB) and Joquin Pastinho (PL).
The investigation proposal was submitted by Senator Damares Alves (Republicans-DF) and Federal Deputy Colonel Fernanda (PL-MT). This request has brought 36 signatures of the Senators and 223 aides – more than the minimum required, which is 27 Senators and 171 assistants.
