In Madhya Pradesh, more than 7 lakh farmers have sold wheat to the government, these districts are buying in MSP

Government procurement on the minimum support price (MSP) in Madhya Pradesh is now in its final stage. The process, which is going on from 15 March 2025, ends on May 5. Earlier, the state government has released the data for the collection, in which the purchase size, how many farmers were purchased, how much purchases were made, and in which districts and payment were informed. The government said the procurement is still ongoing and the farmers are constantly paid.
Bought wheat from 7 million farmers
State Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Minister Govind Rajput on Thursday said that 67 lakhs 92 thousand 890 metric tonnes of wheat is 7 lakhs 81 thousand 389 farmers with a minimum support price so far. Farmers are constantly paying wheat yield purchased. To this end, more than Rs 6000 crore has been paid.
The highest purchases in these districts
The minimum support price on wheat is Rs 2425, and the state government is offering a bonus of Rs 175 per quintal, which means they are getting Rs 2600 per quintal. So far, most wheat has been collected in Ujjain in the state. Here 6 lakhs 48 thousand 993 metric tonnes, 6 lakhs 25 thousand 718 metric tonnes in Sehore, 5 lakhs 38 thousand 284 metric tonnes, 5 lakhs 25 thousand 172 tonnes.

- Indoor – 2 lakhs 46 thousand 432 metric tons

- Agar -Malwa – A lakh 81 thousand 129 metric tons
- Mandsour – a lakh of 65 thousand 210 metric tons
- Satna – one lakh 36 thousand 217 metric tons
- Harda – one lakh 26 thousand 653 metric tons
