If rice is sown before June 15, the crop will be destroyed: warning to farmers in Panipat, Haryana

The Haryana government recently made a big decision in view of the fallen waters of the Panipat district. Farmers here cannot sow rice before June 15. Any action on the breaking order
Recently, clear indications have been issued to Virender Dahia, the DC of Panipat. They have made it clear that if the rice is planted before the expiration date, strict action will be taken. The DC said that any farmer who broke the order would be fined and destroy his crop. Also, the cost of destroying the crop is also charged from the farmer.
Did the administration’s complete manufacture
The administration has made full preparations to prevent paddy cultivation before time. The village secretary, Patwari and jewelery groups of the agriculture officer were formed. These teams go with the police and examine the fields. If a farmer is found to be planting rice before June 15, his crop will be destroyed immediately. The Agriculture Department has set up special teams at the division department level. These teams ensure that the order is nowhere to be violated. This whole process is also monitored at the district level.
Groundwater crisis in Haryana
Like Punjab, the groundwater level in Haryana is constantly falling. Rice is a crop, which requires more water. Rice planting increases water consumption during the summer, which leads to groundwater levels. In 2009, the Haryana government implemented the Haryana Preservation of Subsule Water Act. According to the law, there is a strict ban on sowing and exchanging rice before June 15.
Special appeal to farmers
According to DC Virender Dahia, Padi is planted in 90,000 hectares every year in Panipat district. If such a large amount of agriculture begins before the time of agriculture, then there is a huge pressure on the groundwater. He appealed to the farmers to follow the instructions and follow the instructions. He said that groundwater is the most valuable heritage of nature, which is the responsibility of all of us. Only after June 15, DC requested the farmers to plant rice on their farms and does not release water under any circumstances.
