Text defines graffiti such as scratching, drawing, writing, stain or dirty buildings, urban furniture or public and private equipment without proper authority from the owner.
The reporter of the proposal, Deputy Silvi Alves (Unio-Go), defended the bill passage as a means of having the progress of practice. “Picking is already an environmental offense, but the current punishments are not enough to have a problem. It is necessary to go further,” he argued.
For members of Parliament, the proposed limits have a direct impact on the daily life of the offenders. “These are actions that create practical consequences, these are just fines or symbolic penalties.”
Compensation
Administrative sanctions are applied to any criminal sanctions and damages for damages. If the offender is not compensated for the material or moral losses, this amount is recorded in active debts.
